  • Who qualifies?

    • We typically select one gateway partner per market.
    • You should have direct connections to all mobile operators in a country (no middlemen!).
    • Support HTTP protocol for 2-way SMS-transfer
    • You have SMS short codes that can be shared on a keyword-basis.
    • You have worked as an SMS-gateway provider for at least 3 years and know the operators and the industry well.
    • You can offer competitive revenue sharing compared to other SMS-gateways in your country - so we can together make a competitive offer for our partners.

  • How to join?

    • You and Fortumo shall sign a revenue-sharing contract for providing SMS-connectivity in your country, where amongst other things you:
      • make available to Fortumo users up to 10 keywords on a shared short code
      • at 2-6 different premium price points, and
      • charge Fortumo & Fortumo users no startup & monthly fees
    • You and Fortumo establish a connection between our systems using HTTP-protocol.
    • You provide Fortumo with the rules and regulations governing the creation of mobile payments in your country, so we can pass this on to our users and monitor their compliance.

  • What does Fortumo provide?

    • Web-based user interface and statistics to users
    • Pre-developed applications to users
    • Marketing: global and in-country with internet based channels.
    • Payouts to service providers: so you would not have to deal with tons of small customers.
    • Customer support: we are the first line of contact with the customer (but we come after you every time your systems are not working properly :)

  • Additional benefits

    • Fortumo gives you access to all the other SMS-gateways in all the countries we operate with better revenue sharing than the advanced services revenue sharing advertised in the Fortumo webpage, without any startup and monthly fees.
    • Feel free to resell this in any way and at any price point you want. (Good for your clients who are interested in international expansion).
